Qualified Fee Earners
Our Consultants are well informed and aware of all changes in the marketplace. They develop close and ongoing relationships with fee earners at all levels from Newly Qualified to Equity Partners, enabling a swift and comprehensive response to client enquiries when expansion plans are contemplated or replacement of outgoing staff is necessary. Our Consultants are trained to understand each individual client requirement and to only source and introduce individuals possessing poignant, requisite technical skills. G2 Legal prides itself on matching candidates’ abilities with client requirements and will never supply speculative CVs when detailed and specific job specifications have been provided. Our Consultants at G2 Legal believe in total honesty at all times and never exaggerate or oversell a candidate's ability or experience.

Part Qualified Fee Earners and Paralegals
G2 Legal maintains the same close relationships with non-qualified and part qualified fee earners as it does with those qualified. Our Consultants are trained to devote quality time, care and attention to every individual approaching G2 Legal for advice and guidance on career development and progression.

Support Staff
Good quality, reliable and experienced support staff are often hard to source. G2 Legal uses both traditional and Internet based methods to find such staff. Whether experienced secretarial staff or maternity/holiday relief typists are required, given the requisite job description and suitable time frame, G2 Legal will deliver.

In House
Increasingly, Lawyers of all levels are contemplating fresh opportunities and challenges afforded by a move from Private Practice into industry. Retained Search and Selection

G2 Legal has a large in-house database that is well researched and developed by our team of excellent Consultants. They work intimately with clients to determine their needs, and successfully select the best candidates for consideration. This service is normally offered when recruiting at senior level.

Search activity allows G2 Legal to present lawyers with your opportunities in complete confidence.

If you are starting up a new division and need to appoint a Senior Lawyer or Partner then Retained Search is probably the most discrete and most productive way to appoint at senior level.

G2 Legal undertakes Search and Selection by charging a nominal upfront fee equivalent to 5% of the estimated starting salary. We will then undertake the search exercise and first line interview candidates on your behalf for their suitability. A short list of recommended candidates will then be presented to you together with a summary from G2 Legal. At this stage we would arrange formal interviews either at any of our regional offices or at the clients' offices. Upon completion of the opportunity, we would then invoice you with the balance of fees due.

We can extend and improve this facility by combining Search and Selection with advertising. We manage the entire process, presenting the client with a comprehensive shortlist of superior candidates.

Advertised Assignments

In the past, when clients have wanted to recruit individuals, the options available to them have been to advertise directly in a magazine or enlist the help of recruitment companies. Both options are potentially expensive and time-consuming.

If you advertise directly you pay upfront for the advertisement and are offered no guarantee that any prospective applicants will appear. Indeed, your advertisement merely draws the attention of recruitment companies offering you their candidates.

How does it work?

  • G2 Legal will require artwork from you in a format approved by our design agency, or will liaise with you in creating an advertisement that meets with your approval.

  • We will be responsible for ensuring the advert runs as planned and will try to negotiate a good position for the advertisement.

  • G2 Legal invoice you for the advertisement and design work incurred which should be settled within 14 days of receipt of invoice.

  • Depending on the number of positions you are trying to fill and the media you are advertising in, G2 Legal have devised a recruiting method by which your advertising costs are eliminated if your campaign is successful.
